The life and times we are now living in !!

Now doubt we are living in bad times . I get so fed up with people electing the same people who are doing nothing about problems we need to take care of . They have been consumed with getting rid of Obama Care for the last 4 years and doing nothing else . We need to get rid of them and it wont be long we will be rid of Obama . What a disappointment he has been and as well as Bush so we have had 16 years of nothing but war and spending billions of dollars on war and giving our money and young lives of our service men and women which could have been used for better things and the men and women could have gone on with their lives . Now we have Isis to deal with . We should have left Saddam alone he was a horrible leader but he kept those people in check . Now we are in danger of terrorism in our country and people are getting killed and it will get worse before it gets better . What is wrong with voters here in America putting these stupid people in charge . We need a real leader to unite us as a strong country . Democrats and Republicans are both to blame . Im so tired of all the bull they are all putting out trying to get elected . Lets elect someone who loves the USA and wants to work for the people and not the big money and corporations .Do what it takes to protect our people and not take away our freedoms of everyday living .Lets get it together people and stop fighting among ourselves because of being left,right or whatever a lot of people are tired of it too ! So lets get with it and do something to get together and unite as one great nation again . United we stand and divided we fall. God Bless America

America's Birthday and the Joy of Freedom !!

This Fourth of July Weekend has brought up feelings of joy in my heart and made me so proud to be an American ! I spent 4 years in the United States Marine Corp from 1967-1971and every time I hear the Marine Corp Hymn I cry with pride to have served ! When I think of all the things I have been able to do in my life I am full of gratefulness that I am and American who is free to chose my life's path ! My father came home from fighting the Germans in the deserts of Africa and married my Mom and they had me on September 5th ,1945 in Goose Creek ,Texas and my road to living a Blessed life began !My Grandpa Charlie Joseph came to this country with my Grandma in 1918 from Lebanon and started a grocery store and raised my Dad from an early age in that business and he learned well . In the Army he was in the Quartermaster Corp feeding the troops . In 1951 we had moved to the Northside of Houston and my dad bought land and a house and built a grocery store and called it Joseph & Son Grocery and he made a success of the business and like his Dad taught him he taught me each day how to run that store !My dad was wonderful to people and was a very giving person and taught me to do the same .He made lots of money and we lived a great life . He was a good man .When I was 16 my Dad died of a heart attack at 43 years old . He wanted me to have that grocery store and left it to me to run at such a early age but he taught me well and I ran that store . Only in America ! My Dad was Catholic and wanted me to go to Catholic school and learn about Jesus Christ and get a better education .I was Blessed from age 6 when I started in the 1st grade . They spent a lot of money to send me to private school. Everyday after school I would come home and did my home work and then I worked in the store with my Mom and Dad and listened to the radio and the guy on the radio I thought he had the best job in the world and it was the dawn of Rock and Roll and the station was KILT . I decided that I was going to go to work there one day and did and worked afternoon drive !Radio was my first love not the grocery store where I worked 16 hours a day and the radio was 4 hours a day !! I lived in freedom and I could do anything I put my mind to do and I did just that !! Only in freedom in America !! God Bless America !! I am so blessed to have worked doing what I love and enjoyed going to work each day ! Only in you can do anything you want !! I am a retired man who has been retired since July 13th ,1998 and I am a happy man because I live in a country where you can do what makes you happy !! This 4th of July be thankful you live in the Good ole United States of America in Freedom !! 8

Keeping a happy life no matter what !

Keepin a happy and positive attitude no matter what ! It is all up to you no matter what comes into your life and it can be done and controled by you ! Dont let the problems in the world affect your spirit by just not letting them fill your mind ! Remember your mind is like the gas tank in your car and if you fill it half full of good gas and the other half with dirt you wont go anywhere ! So stop the worry ! Do not worry about anything ! Take care of the responsibilites in your life and dont worry !! If you dont have money to pay the light bill then you sit in the dark until you have the money to pay it ! Big deal its not the end of the world so why worry about it !! Enjoy your life each minute of everyday ! Enjoy the beauty around you ! The simple things that God has given us are the ones we zoom by each day and miss ! Stop and enjoy them and slow down your day . Slow down your mind and reflect on your life and eliminate the things that are not good for you and think about the good things you need more in your day ! Change your life and take control of it and center your mind on the happy things and enjoy ! Get closer to God !! Think good thoughts ! Think good actions and deeds !! Start showing more Love to your family ,friends and people around you and even strangers ! Your kindness to others just might change their lifes and it will yours and that brings happines and joy to your heart ! I have prostate cancer and im in a battle but why would i want to have a defeated attitude ! Why should i give up on enjoying every minute of my life because of cancer ! I trust that God has put some great doctors in my life who I trust with my life to help me win the battle and I will win ! REMEMBER WHAT YOU SAY WITH YOUR LIPS IS WHAT YOU GET !!! Say positive things always and trust in God to bring you through ! When you worry I think that you sin because you doubt that God can take care of you ! God can do all things ! After all God is God ! I have faced death before in my life ! I have had people die 2 feet from me ! When people die it makes no difference what they own or what they think , who they want to vote for ! All their things go into boxes and are given away! So why worry ? Time to live and enjoy and be happy is now while you and I are alive ! I have learned to be happy and not let the world control me and my mind to not be happy !! I control my life and my happiness each day and you can do the same ! Life is very short so enjoy every minute and show Love and Kindness to everyone ! You never know when you will run into a angel ! Live , Love , Laugh alot , and be Happy !!

Christmas

Christmas is here again ! Time to get the Love back in your daily life ! Get the feeling of wanting to give to those who have not ! Telling people that you Love them ! The things that Christ showed us were what God wanted us to do in our lives ! Christ is what Christmas is about ! He said all the things in the sermon on the Mount ! Matthew Chapter 5 the Beatitudes !
Christmas is a great time to get close to God again and start going to Church again if its been a while since you have been ! You know how good it feels when you go to Church and you leave to go home you feel full of Joy and Happiness ! Light on your feet all day !!
Time to get close to God again and stop trying to do this life by yourself ! I always like to say let God do the driving and let Him use you like a tool and you will find peace of mind and Happiness !! Try it you only have your salvation at stake ! Your choice its your life ! Better safe than sorry ! Oh well !!
Just keep Christ in this Christmas and share Him with all and rejoice in His birth !
Life in this world is so much better when you put God first !
