Christmas

Christmas is here again ! Time to get the Love back in your daily life ! Get the feeling of wanting to give to those who have not ! Telling people that you Love them ! The things that Christ showed us were what God wanted us to do in our lives ! Christ is what Christmas is about ! He said all the things in the sermon on the Mount ! Matthew Chapter 5 the Beatitudes !
Christmas is a great time to get close to God again and start going to Church again if its been a while since you have been ! You know how good it feels when you go to Church and you leave to go home you feel full of Joy and Happiness ! Light on your feet all day !!
Time to get close to God again and stop trying to do this life by yourself ! I always like to say let God do the driving and let Him use you like a tool and you will find peace of mind and Happiness !! Try it you only have your salvation at stake ! Your choice its your life ! Better safe than sorry ! Oh well !!
Just keep Christ in this Christmas and share Him with all and rejoice in His birth !
Life in this world is so much better when you put God first !

Cooking classes

I would never think that I would be taking a cooking class with my wife but here we go in a week . My wife thought it would be a fun thing to do together and I think so too ! How to make sauces and soups and bases for other things . You dont have to bring any food or any thing . Its all there for you and I like that .
Its going to be a fun thing for sure to do with my wife . im looking forward to cooking some great things . Ill let you know more later its a 6 week course .

Blowing off some steam makes me happy !!

I am not a rocket scientist and it dosent take one to figure it out what is going on but there are alot of stupid people out there who dont !! How can people not know what is going on ! First -Lets let the Republicans tell us that they can do a better job of getting us out of debt when they got us into this mess in the 1st place for the 8 years that Bush was President ! I dont remember them raising hell about all the spending on war more war and giving all the oil companies money to look for oil ! Spending all the surplus money in the first 100 days of Bush being in the White House !! Now they block any and everything that President Obama wants to do so nothing gets done at all ! They say they are not pregidest but I get black email from people who are my friends who dont have enough money to be Republicans but say they are and send these emails all over everywhere ! How terrible ! President Obama is half white and half black and he is the President of the United States of America and you are not and he deserves our respect and support to make this country work !! United we stand-divided we fall !! Second - I am an Independent voter I vote for both party people if they are right for the job ! Republicans are for the rich and the corporations because they say they need tax breaks so they can create new jobs in this country ! Ok we have done this before in years past we give them billions of dollars in money and tax breaks and then they lay off people here and create low pay jobs overseas ! Now the corporations and the rich have their republicans saying the same thing as before ! Tax breaks and also lets give some more money to the big corporations to create some low pay jobs here ! While as you see in the news each day they are laying off people left and right ! They think we are stupid and most of America is !! People are stupid to not think for themselves instead of letting these party people lead them around by their noses and I mean all the parties Democrats and Republicans and these nuts with the Tea Party !! I am so tired of all these mean spirited people ! Until we get congress to work together we are doomed to be reduced to a 3rd world country ! We will be like India with beggers everywhere ! I hope The Repulicans nominate Rick Perry to be President so he can get in as President and make it all worse so all these butt holes who dont have pot a to pee in who make all this noise about Obama and who profess to be republicans and who are bigots can feel the pain the poor feel ! Thats it for now ! I may or may not blow off somemore steam again at another time !!

Things that have made me happy in my life !!

I am a blessed man . I have always did the things that I always wanted do .From the time I was in the 1st grade I wanted to be a major market on air radio personality .I did that for 30 years with success and was happy to go to work everyday of the 30 years .I always wanted to work on the railroad and I did that for 18 years as a conductor ,Brakeman and switchman building trains and even got to drive a train or two . What a feeling of power that you cant explain in words ,you have to live the moment ! I loved the railroad and miss it as well as the radio !The radio was power too ! To talk to 380000 people at the click of a switch is power and a real rush !
I got to do all those things that when I was a kid people would ask me what I wanted to do when I grew up and I would say work on the radio and work on the railroad !
To do the things that you say you want to do you have to have desire ! You have to want it real bad and dont stop striving to reach that goal !
How many people do you know who are doing jobs they really wanted to do ?
We control our lives or we dont !Dont blame anyone for your not reaching your goals in life ! People do what they want in life and then make excuses for the rest !
I never compromised my values and it was because I did not kiss ass to get ahead or to keep my job in radio ! I knew from the begining that radio had no security but the railroad was a secure job making good money and lots of benefits so I did both and was fired and hired in radio from time to time all over town . I did it my way as Frank would say and still had my railroad job and good money to back me up ! God really took care of me because I made it all happen because He gave me the go to to get it done and I did and had a lot of fun in the making !!
Today I am retired and still doing what I want from day to day because I planned it that way from the beginning ."plan anything you do ahead and you will not have a bad performance " on the radio or in your life ! Oh Happy Day ! Plan to have one too and be Happy !!

Bread cooking and that smell takes you to smell Heaven !

I grew up on the northside of Houston Texas . My dad had a grocery store and each morning in the summer i would go with my dad to the wholesale company to buy groceries . We had an old chevy panel truck and by the time we got back to the store it was full . Oncw a week we would go by the Mrs Bairds bread plant and get a few loafs of hot bread and bring it home for lunch ! The smell of that bread cooking in that plant was so wonderful !
This morning sitting on my patio having coffee reminded me of those wonderful times with my Dad and going to that bread plant because they moved the bread plant about a half a mile from my house and this morning the wind was blowing toward my house with the smell of baking bread and once again it was wonderful ! It took me back to a simpler time in my life and my Dad too ! It was wonderful to smell and filled the neighborhood with the smell of joy and happiness !
Go by a bread pland while they are cooking and enjoy for yourself that wonderful smell of joy and Happiness !!

What is wrong with people are they eat up with the dumb ass !!!

I try not to get all crazy when I see people acting like dumb asses !! I can not keep quiet for one minute longer ! Here is how it goes !
I see people making comments about the president ,the senate , the courts , the house with such bitterness in their comments !
This how I see it !
It makes no difference who is in the white house !Democrat or Republican because the world is run by the top 10 richest people in the world and if you try to buck the system then you will go the way President Kennedy did !! It is useless to keep on harping on President Obama ! He is the president and deserves respect for the office ! He has to play the game as all Presidents do ! We are having our freedom taken away little by little each day and no one says a thing about what is going on !
People are blind to the fact that these rich people run the world and its economy and are moving us all into a one world government ! No one sees it and says a word about your freedoms being taken away !! When your moneies are all gone so are your freedoms ! Lights , gas, keep going higher and soon you wont be able to travel .
It is going to happen before you know it and then it will be to late to react !
It makes no difference if its a democrat or a republican or a goat in the White House !
Put a fork in me and you we are my friend done ! It is to late to stop it and im glad im old and close to death because it is going to be hell on this earth !!
That is how I see it ! I hope im wrong but I dont beleive I am ! God have mercy on us all !!!

Vacation Time !

Vacation time is drawing near for me and my wonderful wife . I love to travel in my retirement years with my sweet wife ! We have been all over Europe , Mexico and South American countries . We wanted to go to Egypt this year and the Holy Land but I dont think we will do that anytime soon because of the unrest in the world today !Then we thought maybe Japan then that was out of the picture so now its Texas and just enjoy a week on Padre Island !
The world is so dangerous today that im glad we did Europe before it got to dangerous ! Its going to be stay and enjoy the good old USA for our vacations in the near future . It is so sad that some people in the world have to ruin peoples happiness !
Have a good vacation and enjoy yourselves this year !!

What can I say ?

After a month break from my blog im back ! What can i say ! I needed a break and that break was because i was consumed with so many things last month . My wifes Granddad died and we were running back and forth to the nursing home at least 2 or 3 times a week because of something he had done or because of something he needed . We loved him very much ! One day i got a call and they said he was Pooping in the small trash cans around the nursing home . They wanted me to talk to him and I did and he said he didnt know what I was talking about ! Then there was the time he wanted a body count because he had been in WWII & Korea & Vietnam as a 30 year army man and he was back there in his mind ! He had won a Silver Star , a Bronze Star and many other awards and he was a little man in stature ! He was a gentle kind wonderful man who we will miss alot !
What can I say about the state of the world ? Sometimes i think the world is about to crater out as we know it !!People cry ou around the world for freedom everywhere on the map ! In the USA we take that freedom for granted sometimes .I am successful at not thinking about all the Hell breaking out around the world and think good thoughts instead !!
What can I say about Spring ? Spring means being consumed buy working in the yard and the Garden ! It takes over my body and mind ! I am consumed with getting my hands in the dirt and connecting to God ! Watching His wonder in plants and birds and dogs and cats ,wind and rain ,and the sky that is endless .
What can I say about doing my honey do lists!! Since i have been retired since 1998 and am 20 years older than my wonderful wife who by the way saved me from a life of doom !! I am the cook and everything else ! My wife keeps me very busy so as to make me feel important in my mind which is important in the fact that i am a man and that is what i need as a man !!I get lists of thing to do all over town and at home ane after i do them i get good feeling !I enjoy working in my garden and enjoy my retirement very much !
What can i say I am a happy man !!

We are blessed with freedom

How we take things for granted here in the United States . We have all the doors open to be and do anything we want . You can travel anywhere you want . You can be anything you want . you can go to the store and buy anything you want anytime of the day or night ! You can go to the grocery store and buy any kind of food you want or go out to eat any kind of food you want . Freedom is a wonderful thing that alot of people around the world dont know about ! There are millions of people who dont have food to eat . There are millions who cant travel who are limited to a certain area in their countries . We are spoiled with freedom and then complain about everything . We can say whats on our minds and not be put in jail for doing it . Its sad that so many people take freedom for granted here in the greatest country on earth ! As I watch the news every day and see the cry for freedom around the world . I thank God that I was born in Texas and in the good ole USA in Freedom ! God Bless America !!

Football and the Superbowl

Time now for the Superbowl . Lets all get ready and start buying some food ! Lets plan it well because if im coming over I want some good stuff waiting for me to eat ! Im just kidding ! If you are having people over you will do well im sure !! Its a fun time to look forward to and on SuperBowl Sunday have a joyful time with friends and family !! See its easy to stay in a happy frame of mind when you think positive !! Just enjoy yourself and dont worry about what other people think !! Just have fun in your life and enjoy yourself and dont hurt anyone and your ok !! Hope your team wins !! Get that food ready and that will make me happy !

The road to Happiness

The road to happiness for me and I suppose everyone is this .If you take care of your responabilites and make a financial plan to make sure you stay able to pay your bills and save for later in your life and not get over your head you will not create problems for yourself .
Dont beleive what you hear on the news and what you read unless you see it with your own eyes or hear it with your own ears . Dont listen to peoples rumors .Mind your own business and take care of your life and stay out of other peoples lifes .
Stay away from near occassions of sin in your life that will fill your mind with trash ! Pure thoughts ,words ,actions and deeds should fill your mind and you are the one to do that for your self no one else .
People do what they want and make excuses for the rest !!
When you have your affairs in order in your life and in your mind you can find happiness everyday of your life ! You make yourself happy ! Its a state of mind that you do for yourself and that is it ! Showing kindness and love to other people makes good things happen in your body and makes you feel good ! Giving is receiving ! What you say is what you get !
Stop being mean and angry at others for your short comings ! Stop being lead around by your nose by other people and start thinking with the brain that God gave you and make your own decisions !Stop judging people and take a hard look inside yourself ! You might not like what you see !
Start the new year with a good attitude and with Love in your heart and be a more tolerant person then you will be able to be a Happy person because before you can like other people you have to like yourself first !
Be happy and have fun and show some love to others ! Start today !!

New Year 2011

Its a New Year and 2010 is long gone ! It was a bad year for alot of people . Alot of people in our subdivision lost their jobs or lost their homes thats a bad year for sure for them ! I have Hope ! Hope is a key word to keep alive in our brains through 2011 ! Dont ever give up hope for any reason . Keep hope alive always ! Im a person who never gives up on anything in my life and it always works for me . I always beleive that what you say is what you get ! I have had money and I have not had money in my life and most of the time I had fun and Happiness when I did or I didnt have money ! To me that says its a state of mind to have happiness and its up to me to make it happen for myself ! I have hope for you and the world ! I believe in you and Mankink to keep the road clear for success in 2011 ! Smile and be happy with or without . Life is good so enjoy yourself and dont worry about anything . God will take care of us all in 2011 ! Happy New Year !!
